Emerald staircase ring (Jo)

I have aptly named this one "Staircase to the Emerald city". A gift from her family, designed in collaboration with my client, Jo. 

Six emeralds on the shoulders lead up to a striking centre emerald, creating the stepped design that inspired the name.

The setting combines claw and bar settings, allowing the emeralds to sit very close together so they appear almost touching, while still remaining secure. This was a technical challenge, but the result is a clean, flowing line of vibrant green stones.

A special piece created through close collaboration and thoughtful design.
